In November 2022 Hanta would set the ball rolling by releasing Eyez On Tha Prize a project that contained seven tracks

Eyez on tha prize was a collection of different sub genres of Hip Hop, which included Drill, Conscious rap , Swahili rap and Traditional rap


The most outstanding song on this project definitely remains to be Kana Ka Nikora , which was a fusion of both Embu & Swahili rap.


Kana Ka Nikora was also a lead single and scooped an award at the prestigious Pulse Music Video Awards.

Hanta Would celebrate this win by treating his fans to another lyrical masterpiece dubbed Full Armour, which he showed other rappers why he had a ‘Samurai’ in his rap moniker.


One year later, Hanta The Samurai is still in the process of making what he considers to be a follow up sequel to ‘Eyez On Tha Prize ‘

Kenyan artist Nommy has bamboozled fans with a brand new tune , Wanimaliza which breaks his musical silence after months of waiting .


Its been a while since fans heard from the budding and ever innovative / rapper /artist Nommy who in February had promised his fans a full Ep which he had dubbed as Nommynation.

It would be a lie to say that any of us had expected Nommy to release the tune as he had gone underground for a while after releasing a drill banger .

Emo rap artist Wi n (styled as W3N) is scheduled to kickstart his media tour today at PPPTV.

The rapper who has been in the country for a couple of weeks after coming from Tanzania has expressed his excitement as it’s the first time he will be making an appearance on prime time tv , speaking about his music .
