Rapper and artist Cashcode is back in the spotlight with his new single “Trenches,” which is part of his star-studded upcoming EP. Currently in the process of debuting the EP,Sorry I Changed , Cashcode shared insights into the inspiration behind “Trenches” and what fans can expect from his latest work.
As for his forthcoming EP, Cashcode is enthusiastic about the new sounds he’s bringing to the table. “My upcoming EP is coming with amazing sounds, melodies, and good vibes. That’s what y’all should expect,” he said. Reflecting on his growth, he added, “I feel much better about my new EP compared to the previous project.”
“Trenches was inspired by my life struggles and also some friends who switched on me by snitching,” Cashcode revealed. “Seeing myself in such a stage to tell a true life story is amazing, making me a hero from my own hood.”

Addressing rumors about his personal life, cashcode made it clear, “Point of correction: No, I’m not dating any rap star named Ssaru.”
Creating “Trenches” was a straightforward process for Cashcode who credits his determination and a little support from his producer. “There wasn’t any serious process making ‘Trenches,’ and no one helped me build that track. Still, I’m gonna shout out to Jazzybassbeat for being supportive during the recording,” he acknowledged.
Despite the challenges, Cashcode remains focused and committed to his craft. “I won’t say it’s easy on me, but I’m pushing and trying my best,” he admitted. Looking ahead, he promised fans, “Expect something amazing and touching deep to the soul.”
